Spiritual Doula Services

Spiritual doula services are for the women who are not located in my immediate service area.

I feel that I do not have to be physically present to be able to fully support you and help you take back your birth! Through connection and spirit, we come together to learn and grow together. Together, we will prepare for you to be able to take back your birth!

I took the title as "Spiritual Doula" because

I wanted to be able to provide support to women and other birthing people who felt the calling from me. Though some women do need physical support (and as a birth keeper, I respect that), many feel they benefit from spiritual services simply for having the added support and education through pregnancy and birth.

Spiritual Doula Services were created so I could

Provide support for women and other birthing people no matter their physical location.

Provide all the education requested and necessary via phone, text, and video to empower you throughout your journey and aid you in taking back your birth.

Be available 24/7 for fear conquering or answering questions

Communicate via video messaging, phone calls, and text messaging throughout the journey and during the birthing process.

But why?

America is the most dangerous medically-developed country in the world to give birth in.
In America, Black women die at 4 times the rate of other birthing people, followed by Native women and Hispanic women. These statistics are comparable to third-world countries and unacceptable for a medically-developed country.
So many women feel uneducated or feel they aren't being given the proper care.
Many women are told misinformation and coerced into "routine" practices that are NOT evidence-based practices.

I believe that all women and other birthing people deserve to birth the way that they please! Whether medicated or unmedicated, hospital or home, assisted or unassisted, YOU deserve to be as educated and empowered as you possibly can be on your journey! Our worries and concerns are rooted in fear; the only way to conquer those fears is to educate ourselves. As a birth keeper and spiritual doula, I promise to provide ALL of the information that you request because you deserve to know the good, the bad, and the beautiful.

What defines a "Spiritual Doula"?

Not much, except it's complete support, education, and empowerment completely virtual!

Two official prenatal appointments with me; these are usually done the same day or week as your physical prenatal appointments. These appointments are essential for going over pregnancy concerns, fears, birth planning, education, etc. (VALUED AT - $300)
Unlimited education and resources based on your pregnancy, information you request, and general information to help you throughout your journey.
Unlimited support and empowerment individually catered to you and your needs.
On-Call phone, text, email, and video support from the time of contract signing throughout your pregnancy to help conquer fears, answer questions, and provide information. (VALUED AT - $3,000)
A separate Fear-Conquering and Birth Planning Session closer to your due date to help cut down on fear and miseducation leading up to your birth and to help tailor a birth plan to your wants and needs. (VALUED AT - $300)
Resources for your partner or birthing team specifically tailored on ways to better support you, a What To Say/Not To Say cheat sheet, message techniques, and more. (VALUED AT - $300)
Confidence to you and your team that you have someone informed on childbirth and newborn procedures who will provide all the risks, benefits, and information so you can make the right decision for your family.
24/7 On-Call Support via phone, video, and texting once you hit 35 weeks until birth to ensure I can provide support and information to you at all times. (VALUED AT - $4,000)
24/7 On-Call Virtual Labor and Birth Support via phone and video to be used at your discretion. This is for the woman who needs to hold space, needs reassurance, or needs information on a last minute decision. (VALUED AT - $600)
Two official postpartum appointments to help with breastfeeding, talk about the birth, settling in, or anything you may need help with after. One of these is usually done in the days after birth and one is done within the first few weeks. I will send a message via text or voice messaging to reassure that you have my support. (VALUED AT - $350)
COMPLIMENTARY 8-Week Postpartum Screening and Video Appointment to check-in on emotions, the postpartum process, feeding, and baby.

Fees and Details

Spiritual Doula Rate: $1,300

A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required at the time of contract signing. This deposit reserves your estimated due date and ensures "on-call" status. This deposit will go towards the final total of service.

Money is not my motivation. I am more interested in empowering women and other birthing people to birth their way. All final payments are discussed with me (your birth keeper) at the time of contract signing and the consultation. Payment must be paid by the estimated due date unless otherwise discussed. There are payment plans available and discounted rates for families in true need of support and can not afford the full price.

HEADS UP!

Requesting a follow-up or consultation does not reserve a birth keeper or doula. A follow-up is done to ensure we are both a good fit for each other. Service is not guaranteed until a contract is signed and deposit is received.
